Students from Russell School Visit Museum

On Tuesday, May 17th The Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center hosted 5 classes (totaling approximately 110) fourth grade students from Russell School. The students, accompanied by their teachers Ms. Pattillo, Ms. Reener, Ms. Scheldt, Ms. Bitter and Ms Brookshire, came in 5 separate sessions.

They were hosted by Mrs. Carol Sneed, a retired teacher who is also Vice President of the Museum Association. She was assisted by Nancy Neuhaus, a retired teacher, and Martha Jackson Museum President.

The students enjoyed a museum tour and participated in a scavenger hunt. While there they were able to witness travelers from all over the world who were also touring the Museum.

The Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center is open 7 days a week during the summer months.
